Lead development, management, and execution of marketing strategies of a brand. The Brand Manager leads the product development, portfolio management, consumer communication strategy, and research function for the brand.

Essential Job Functions: • Leadership and execution of all key areas of the marketing mix including Profit & Loss, Advertising, Promotions, Pricing / Sizing, and New Product Development. Develop the brand strategy and marketing plan, product development process, and packaging innovation as well as managing the development and execution of marketing campaigns – both trade and consumer. • Identify consumer and customer trends, category gaps, and unmet consumer needs in all operating segments. Leads the process to identify, develop, and launch new products.

Key Requirements • Key brand management skills – positioning, advertising, finance, promotions, new products, and line extension development. Broad experience in creating concepts, and business propositions based on consumer insights and commercializing nationally. • Demonstrated leadership, communication, and influencing skills. Must be able to function effectively in a cross-functional, team environment. Proven track record of collaborating and aligning multifunctional teams around a common objective. • Strong experience in understanding consumer insights including pertinent research tools (IRI, Nielsen, Primary). • Experience directing and managing outside creative agencies. • Experience launching new products, extensions, campaigns. • Exceptional project management skills. Excellent analytical and problems solving skills as well as firm grasp of marketing cost drivers.

Education and/or Experience: 1. Bachelors degree in marketing or business, MBA preferred 2. 5+ years experience in CPG industry 3. Minimum 3+ years brand management experience
